RULES

• $20 entry fee. (anyone can compete- even if they aren't on a registered SilverHoops team- but must sign a release waiver)
• NO swearing, vulgar language or obscene gestures.
• No hanging on the rim.
• Judges rulings are final.

SCORING

Preliminaries: 
-- Each contestant is allowed 1 attempt dunk as a warm-up.
-- Time begins and contestants have 1 minute to complete 3 dunks.
-- Only MADE dunks will be scored. Finals are determined by your highest scoring single dunk.  
-- After 1 minute is up, the contestants turn is over, however they can stop at anytime before then if they are satisfied with a dunk
-- The number of contestants who will move on to finals is TBD, depending on the total number of contestants registered.

Finals:
-- Contestants will rotate in turns attempting dunks one at a time.
-- Each contestant is allowed 4 turns, each with 1 minute to attempt 1 dunk. 
-- Only MADE dunks will be scored. Winner is determined by your 2 highest scoring dunks.

1st Prize: Cash
2nd & 3rd place: TBD

Contestants will be ranked based on their highest scoring dunk during preliminaries.
During finals, winner is determined by their 2 highest scoring dunks.
*In the event of a tie, a dunk-off will be evoked. The highest score out of 1st made dunk in 2 minutes wins.

Dunks are scored as follows:

• Power/Strength: scored from 1 – 10
• Difficulty: scored from 1 – 10
• Showmanship: scored from 1 – 10
